Why not order through a thrid party?

Any person can order a HIP.  If you purchase the HIP then you will own it.  Therefore if the HIP is ordered by someone other than yourself check who will have legal title to it.  The HIP does not necessarily belong to the property.

What Happens after you order?

* You can market your property as soon as you have ordered your HIP through us.  We email a confirmation of your order to you and your estate agent, if you are using one.

* The EPC appointment is arrange on the same day when you order your HIP.  The assessor will carry out an inspection usually 24hr after the HIP order been placed, it will take around 45-60mins to complete.

*They will provide us with the necessary Energy Perfomance Certificate (EPC) to include in your completed HIP, usually within 48hrs of the inspection.  We can provide you and your agent, if any, with a copy if this so that the EPC charts can be included in your property details for marking purposes.

* Your completed HIP is generally ready within 10 workign days - often sooner.

* We email you (and your agent - if any) an electronic copy of your HIP in PDF format when complete.  This can be distributed easily to anyone, or printed - off at anytime.

* We can supply a Hard Copy for an additional charge of £20.00 to cover 70pages printing and postage cost.  We suggest that all you need is the standard, supplied electronic version

N.B. In the case of unregistered land, you will be liable for the cost of evidencing title and you are advised to instruct a solicitor to assist you and invoice you directly.

* A copy of the lease (for leashold property)
